New neighbourhood watch signs have started appearing in local London boroughs. The original meerkat design has been around for decades however very little has changed, as you can see below. The new pigeon design takes clear inspiration from the look-out meerkats.
These signs are a clear mockery of Pigeons Aren’t Real. Surveillance pigeons are so engrained in our society that they are becoming a symbol for government control yet still we campaign for privacy and our freedom from the pigeon drones.
