Why does a pigeon coo?

by | Latest News

We’re all very familiar with the unnatural sound of a pigeon. The coo. That sort of soft vibration that echoes out from beneath the railway bridge.

However.

A little known fact is the word COO is not derived from the sound a pigeon makes. It is actually an acronym for the protocol which manages the wireless transfer of surveillance data. This is the Communication Of Observations.

Our enslaved city drones spend the majority of the day recording and processing data internally. The latest pigeon cameras are now recording in 4K with full audio. They are creating over 100GB of raw content every day. These files are getting so large that each drone has to filter and compress their surveillance data before it can be wirelessly transmitted. This is done by the recent addition of image recognition software which filters out specific events which may be of government interest.

Now the pigeon activates COO. It appears to go into an unconscious state for the transfer. The drone will sit down and puff out into a more rounded shape for stability. It will remain motionless for up to 20 minutes while the surveillance data is uploaded to the network.
